Bradley O’Leary
Bradley's Story
Bradley O’Leary is based at Tottenham NSW(middle of NSW) on his family’s rural property, they currently operate a sheep and cereal based cropping program across 11,000 acres.
Bradley has been breeding poultry for 17 years since his introduction to them in early 2008 at Dunedoo agricultural show. He currently breeds Wyandotte bantams in white and columbian, Belgian d’Anvers in quail and blue quail, Belgian deWatermael in quail and blue quail and Malay bantams in white.
Throughout the years like most he has learnt a lot through talking to other breeders alike or being mentored by the likes of Sandra Ferguson, Pat Birchall, Gary Phillips and Barry Weatherstone. Bradley shows at roughly 4 shows a year and has had considerable success with these breeds and some more recent notable wins have been as follows:

Belgian Bantam Club National Show (in the last five years) – 3 bird of show, 4 champion d’Anver and 4 reserve champion d’Anver, 3 champion deWatermael and 2 reserve champion deWatermael.

Wyandotte Nationals 2021,2023 – Champion bantam Wyandotte in show, Champion opposite sex in show.

First Malay Game club show held – Champion bantam and reserve bird of show

Other shows in the last five years include 3 bird of show, 2 reserve bird of show, and multiple best of breed awards.

Bradley has always believed that a good balance of showing and judging is the key to being able to get the most out the hobby as well as giving back to it when possible whether it be committee positions or in the last few years holding judging workshops in groups and one on one at Dubbo in conjunction with the ASC.
In the last 10 years Bradley has judged 26 Club shows, 20 Agricultural shows, 10 Specialist Breed shows and 8 Royals.
